Health

by Kurtis

With all the up coming sports that one wants to do during the summer, one must remain active. Baseball, tennis or Frisbee golf even all requires that a person be healthy. To catch the ball, to return a serve, or to throw the Frisbee. Everyone must define their own version of healthy. Everyone has their own version of what is healthy. And everyone else tries to impose their own preconceptions of what is healthy on everyone else. So you must decide for yourself what is healthy. What is healthy to you? Is it being able to run cross country? Maybe it’s being able to lift lots of heavy weight? Maybe it could even just being able to walk awhile without losing ones breath? To reach your goal of what you define as healthy you must establish smaller goals to reach. Such as eating healthy and exercising on a regular basis that will enable you to reach your goals. What to eat? A healthy lifestyle is based upon what one eats. One must chose the right variety of healthy foods. One must eat meat to get the right amount of protein to enable to the body to recover from strenuous activity. Another important thing that helps the body to remain active is grains. Grains provide the body with healthy calories that the body uses for energy. One however must choose the right grains or they run the risk of becoming obese. Unhealthy grains include such items as donuts, White bread and cake. Healthy selections include pasta, bagels and whole wheat items. Fruits and vegetables are also a staple for a healthy lifestyle they provide the body with vitamins and nutrients that keep you healthy.  What are healthy activities? Healthy activities include running, playing games outside and keeping your body in motion. When the body comes out of a sedentary state such as watching TV into a healthy state one feels better, with more exercise one begins to notice that their body feels better and looks better. Whether you choose to get healthy for a sport or that hottie at the pool do it the right way. Don’t rush it, your body takes awhile to get used to being healthy and start showing results. If you push it to hard you run the risk of overworking your body. When one over works their body they lose all gains made. So follow the basic guidelines and define your own healthiness.
