Storytelling in the Four Corners today reflects the continuation of an oral tradition that has been embraced and preserved starting with the petroglyphs of the Southwest.

Slow down the pace, kick back, and listen to traditional tales of the Navajo, Hispanic cuentos or stories, some great cowboy poetry, and a few tall tales, as told by some of the very best national and local storytellers.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OCTOBER 8 IS FOR SCHOOL GROUPS ONLY!

Beginning on Friday morning and continuing through Saturday, the stories will flow along the Animas River beneath the blue New Mexico skies. Look for the festival tents at River Reach Terrace in Berg Park. Then meet at the historic Totah Theatre in downtown Farmington as this magical event continues.

National and local storytellers of all ages will be featured in the two-day celebration of an almost lost art...
