Get ready for the Wild Rumpus!

Join us at the Farmington Public Library for a celebration of the iconic author and illustrator Maurice Sendak! Presented by the Farmington Public Library Foundation.
The Maurice Sendak Memorial Exhibition is a retrospective of original works by Maurice Sendak. The collection has been on tour since 2013, the 50th anniversary of the publication of Where the Wild Things Are. This collection is exclusive to one location in each state, and the Farmington Public Library is the only place in New Mexico where you will be able to see rare and exclusive works by Maurice Sendak.

Exhibit Dates: March 10 – April 22
Exhibit Hours:    Monday thru Thursday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sunday, 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm


$1 for children under 18
$3 for adults

Library Adventures for Groups:
Register your group early (up to 30) to reserve a space on the Library Events Calendar. 

Payment is required for the Maurice Sendak Exhibit.  Adults $3.00 and Children $1.00

Payment will be collected on the scheduled day of the tour.
