San Juan County teens, youth mentors, etc. record volunteer and service learning hours online. Strengthen Your College Application Through Meaningful Service.

The online record can be printed for documentation when filling out job applications, college applications, etc. Discuss teen issues and find solutions to reach out, speak out and help out your community. Not limited to Farmington youth… Aztec, Bloomfield, Kirtland and Shiprock, too!

Over 3,600 hours have been logged- great job everyone!

Calling all makers and do-ers! You never know what you might see at our Make.Do mini demos from 3:30 to 4:30 each Friday in the library's rotunda. You could learn how to make a little robot from your toothbrush...tips & tricks for your iPhone or iPad...how a 3D printer works. Are you pretty good at making stuff yourself? Sign up to be a maker at one of our upcoming Maker Fairs!

Join us for Teen Tech Week during SPRING BREAK
REGISTER ONLINE TO DO one of the following PRESENTATIONS
or one of your own

Techies can present one of the following:
"Makey Makey"
"Bristlebot"
"Lego Education/Mindstorms"
"3D Printer"
"Raspberry Pi"

If you choose to do one of your own and need supplies, please check with the teen zone staff to see if we can help you collect what you need.

Teens visit the library laboratory in the Teen Zone to extend learning beyond the classroom. Explore, create and share content using the newest technology and teach us a few things, too. Share some of your expertise and register for the library's maker space on April 12.
