MTACMayor's Teen Advisory Council

Teens—"Speak Out, Reach Out, and Help Out" at the City Council teen presentation in April. We want to hear your voice!

MTAC is a social gathering of middle to high school teens discussing teen issues at the monthly meeting. Not limited to Farmington youth… Aztec, Bloomfield, Kirtland and Shiprock, too!

Volunteer Log Button

Record your volunteer and service learning hours online! There are over 1200 volunteer hours recorded online. The recording will provide you with all the hours you have done when it comes to filling out job applications, college applications, etc.

Blended Zine meets every Wednesday @ 4:30pm at the library!

Visit blendedzine.com to vote on the "Teen Choice" and pick up a 2013 copy of BLENDED ZINE @ the RELEASE PARTY on Friday, May 10 @ 7pm.

Volunteer your time to be part of the Blended Zine team and help develop the next issue. Meetings continue through the summer months. BLENDED ZINE teens meet every Wednesday @ 4:30pm in the Library Lab next to the Teen Zone @ the library.


Teen Gaming Fix

Play PS3, Xbox 360, Wii or PS2 games in the Teen Zone! Video Games are available to Teens (13-19) who have a valid library card in good standing and meet the qualifications listed in the Teen Zone Gaming System Policy. RECOMMEND a game for the Teen Zone!

Gaming is available in the Teen Zone daily when the TZ is staffed. Games may not be available during Teen Zone or Youth Services program.

 

 

The Shiprock Branch Library is open to the public. We are located on Hwy. 491 North across from the Northern Navajo Medical Center. Our door is on the east side of the Shiprock Boys & Girls Club building. All programs offered by the Shiprock Branch Library are FREE.

Get a library card! Use the computers at the library. Check the Shiprock Library Events Calendar.

Hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm, Monday Through Friday and we are closed Saturday and Sunday.
