Description: Offering opportunities for all residents to participate in theatrical productions in San Juan County in every possible capacity: acting, directing, staging, publicity, sales, admissions, etc. Every effort is made to involve as many different persons in the various phases of theatrical production as possible, with no differentiation made in regard to age, sex, ethnicity, or financial capacity. It is the only community based theater group in the county. Artists participating in these productions are chosen in the normal manner, through auditions for the various acting roles. The entire county population is asked to seek these roles through "tryouts" which are announced through every possible media resource.
Comments: Develops talents and abilities in performing arts. Provides internships and possible employment opportunities in the theatrical arts. Also provides volunteer opportunities for youth to be involved in theater which can later lead to employment.
