Description:It is the purpose of the Boy Scouts of America to provide an effective program which will build desirable qualities of character, train in the responsibilities of participatory citizenship, and develop personal fitness. The Boy Scouts of America accomplishes its purpose by offering its program in partnership with existing groups with compatible goals, including religious, educational, civic, fraternal, business, labor, and governmental bodies.
